Kurt Grimm was born in 1960, is a life-long resident of Auburn and graduated from DeKalb High School in 1978. Kurt's undergraduate work was completed at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, and he graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1987 with Cum Laude honors, having served as Articles Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
Kurt focuses his practice on criminal defense and representing persons injured in accidents. He has handled cases in which the recovery was in excess of one million dollars, as well as many more modest cases.
When not practicing law, Kurt pursues his hobby of high altitude mountaineering and other extreme sports. He is a trained Alaska Mountain Guide and National Outdoor Leadership School Instructor, as well as an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, in which he is a local assistant scoutmaster.
